I love the soft focus and the rich colours in this photo. They make the watch seem ethereal, like it blends into the space around it and doesn't have a really solid, physical existence. And yes, that's just like a moment in time, which passes from reality into memory and starts to blur at the edges straight away. Very deep :). I'm giving you 10 for making me think - lisae

Very good use of negative space... we all know how tiny and useless a match seems in a big dark place, and you caught that feeling well. Just enough light to illuminate the fingertips and nothing else! Very mysterious and spooky.

This photo is very evocative and moody. I love that feeling of the end of the day, and you have captured every element of it... the light, the feeling of transition from one place to another (usually, if you work somewhere and have to go home), the knowledge that your life is one day further along its weary path... 10 from me - lisae
