Poi--fire twirlingby OakleyComment: I absolutely love this photo. The woman has a beautiful, mature figure that adds a sense of naturalness and earthiness to the entire composition. It has such archetypal themes - the fertile female body and destructive yet life-giving fire. I love the soft focus, the colour, the curves of her body and the composition. |

Black Light Scorpionby hblakeComment: The colour, the composition and the textures here are all gorgeous. The soft focus works really well for me. This is a very intense image. It would be interesting to see some variations on the hue/saturation of this photo, with all kinds of bizarre colour combinations. A collage of them would be really neat :). |

The only wayby sissiComment: This is SO cool, weird and surreal! I love it!!! One of my favourite photos on this site :). You did really well getting that beautiful coloured background, and making it so soft with narrow depth of field. It complements the little guy very well. |

Fall From Graceby KarenBComment: I gave this a 10. Very topical and dramatic. You were very brave, because I know there is a lot of tension and high emotion about this subject. |

Trust?by arnitComment: I gave this a 10. I didn't really need to have a strong idea of which particular sin was there. The tension in the photo is suggestive of many, many things that are fundamental to the human condition (something that all the sins embody). The only thing that I don't quite like is that it seems very staged, since the models are very photogenic, the hair is perfect, the girl's makeup is perfect... I prefer realism, because those things make the emotions in the photo less powerful. |

Battered Reflection by hokieComment: I'm finally going through and commenting on my favourite photos from this week (I didn't have time before). This was one of my 10s :). It's just brilliant, the kind of photo that I would describe as having a narrative feel. I can create a story to explain the elements of the knife and the woman's face. A photo that does that is very powerful. |

Aftermathby HBunchComment: Heather, I gave this a 10 during the week, but knowing that it was by you makes it so much more meaningful. It's a very powerful photo. Great work. |
