a quiet dayby lecookComment: Great colours, great mood, great framing... the ball gives this photo a sense of narrative, while the mist in the beautiful, delicate trees creates a mood of contemplation. |

Wooden Mannequinby RemieComment: There's a subtelty to the colours here that I like, as well as the positioning of the dummy, but as I said on the other dummy photo, those things are kinda cliched. |

From the groundup horse they make dog food.by David EyComment: I love the way you captured this dog's expression :). The horse in the tree gives the photo a surreal aspect, like a Chagall painting or something. I think though that it would be cool if the dog was more definitely the subject of the photo. |

Texas Indian Blanketsby marcelleComment: Most things about this photo are great... the only thing is that it seems flat and uniform. If it had been cropped so that it was a vertical rectangle, with more sky, and a tighter focus on a few flowers, it would be more interesting to look at, maybe. |

Overviewby ciscocaliComment: Beautiful :). The curvy lines of the fixture on the wall draw the eye up to the flowers which burst out in all directions in a really dynamic way. My only criticism is that it seems a little bit blurry. |

Sather Towerby bobgaitherComment: Very pretty... the framing seems awkward to me though. I think ti could do with being a closer shot of the tower with less around it, and if it's going to be positioned away from the centre it should be further to one side, otherwise it kinda seems like an accident. |

Reaching for the Skyby MrsKroComment: The layering of the leaves with light behind them is very pretty. I don't think the picture is framed in an interesting way though. Perhaps the trunk could be more dominant and central? Framing and cropping this photo different ways to experiment could lead to something with more to interest the eye, eg. more bark texture, interesting shapes, etc. |

...and Justice for Allby DigiteyesComment: This is a very well executed photo, but makes me uneasy because of the manipulative, propagandistic subject matter. To me it says "you're either with us, or you're with the terrorists"... ie. it embodies divisiveness and a stance against peace. Maybe it is more pleasing to Americans than to the rest of us. |
