Stunning! I love this photo. The composition is cluttered, in a way, but not overly so... just enough to reveal all the varied discolouration of the mechanism. The composition draws my eye around, but isn't too distracting. The lighting, focus, exposure, etc. work perfectly to highlight all the textures in the image. 10 from me! - lisae

This is very striking... I like the composition. The way the end of the branch is blurred works in drawing my eyes back up to the sharper part, but I'm not sure if it's effective overall.
