I think I'd try and avoid the blinds to enhance the issusion that it the ground and not a bedspread.

I'd have shot this against an all-dark background so as to not "lose" the thumb on the left.

To me this would better with an increased DOF, but does show multiple textures and make me want to go get my box out of the cabinet and have a snack.
