To my eye it would be stronger cropping off about 1/3 from the right and bottom, leaving the bird and the top three branches. Proportionally more sky and a bigger (more visible) bird that way.

This is very dramatic, but I'd feel better if I saw a fully-armored biker. Of course, when discussing motorcycle helmet laws years ago with my dad (a science teacher) he pointed out it was just natural selection -- riders with helmets had a better chance of living to reproduce...

I guess you get a "bonus point" for offering up such a "negative" example...

Fortunately the title doesn't affect my score here, but I think that's Hermes (or Mercury), the messenger of the the gods. Hints are the winged hat and caduceus (staff entwined with serpents -- symbol of the medical profession).
