From a technical standpoint, this is a terrific effort - crisp, sharp with everything detail well controlled and captured. From an artistic standpoint, it's rather bland and uninviting to the viewer. Sometimes an image, even one as technically competant as this one is, is just an image. A worthy entry into the challenge and directly related to the challenge subject. A good effort falling short in the artistic sense.

A very unique look at the challenge subject, this is nearly perfect in every way. Both a technical and artistic success, this static view from a unique perspective is unchallenged so far in being inventive. Crisp, sharp with well controlled bokeh, this should be a ribbon winner. Very well done.

A second image where the infrared/negative approach was used to create a SFx effect which in this case worked well. A technical and artistic success which does not require a lot of comment. A top ten image and potential ribbon winner.

Occasionally, an image comes along that is so perfect, that to say anything at all would be to say too much. Well done - a ribbon winner.

A good image, good angle and an artistic success. The image does have an interesting green color cast to the tracks which is intriguing. The difficult lighting was handled effectively. It might have helped to turn the saturation down just a tad, but it's fine as it is. No major technical flaws. A worthy entry into the challenge.

A beautiful image with plenty of color and rich detail. A very different look at the challenge subject. The background seems a little over saturated and unnatural which is a minor flaw and may be an comparison issue from the viewer's standpoint. A technical success and most certainly an artistic success. Well done.

A complete technical success with the highlights being right on the edge of overdone. The lens flare effect is also a plus with the light reflecting off the tracks. A little more effective crop concentrating on the image and lessening of the blank space would have positively affected the image from an artistic sense. A very unique and clever look at the challenge subject. Well one - could be a top ten if the image was a little more concentrated on the lights and their effects.
