wow, busy area! Reminds me of when I lived in Tampa, Florida. I always saw cruise ships on my commute, and I miss that. I miss cruising too!

I love this so much! I grew up on a farm and we raised cattle, and we had a border collie- best dog ever. This really brought back memories of that dog "herding" the cows.

That water is cascading through there at breakneak speed, you can't even hear yourself think it's so loud! I suppose it'd be inviting if you were a thrill seeker with a kayak though!

yeah, it gets real big before it dumps into the pacific ocean. It's one of the best white water rafting rivers in north america!

I'm fairly new to photography, but I always try to shoot in manual mode to force myself to get it right and understand what makes a photo. Hopefully I'll be one of those that can look back after a couple years here and see a difference in my skill level! Focus has been one of those things I can never seem to get right, any advice? Thanks for the comment! I plan to go back there later this summer and try again, it's pretty close to home.
