Breakdownby TooCoolComment by Bigelow: Somehow the toes distract. Too much light there. The rest is just a tad too dark to appreciate it. Maybe a spotlight toward the face would help. |

Breakdownby TooCoolComment by pcody: Good job. Really makes me feel enclosed, edgy, with my back to the wall. Really well done. |

California Rollby TooCoolComment by Everyday Renee: I thought about doing what you did here, but I thought that was *cheating*.
In either case, you took a great shot. Have you ever tried to make sushi at home? It is exceptionally easy and looks just as divine. I've done it...you just have to find a Japanese grocer that sells the freshest fish. That's the catch... |

California Rollby TooCoolComment by faidoi: I would've given you a "10" for this one. Beautiful colors. The shiny plate helps to frame the sushi very well and the placing of the chopsticks. Excellent. |

Coppin' a Rayby TooCoolComment by tfaust: A good macro image, but I can't see much of the light. Most of the image is 'shaded' and your title lends itself to the cat laying in the sun. I think I'd like to see more of that in the image. I like how the whiskers seem to glow... |

Breakdownby TooCoolComment by kstewart927: This photo is excellent-great in black and white. Definitely captures loneliness. I'm new to this website...I find many of the photos 'staged'. Is that the norm and it's obviously acceptable? What little training I've had in photography has been in photojournalism...the art of capturing life as it happens. Staging anything is a huge no-no in photojournalism, so this is very new to me. Any comments? |
