this is a very nice model shot, like the textures in her heans and the jacket. i'm not sure i can see anything in her pose to suggest pride, however. still, nicely done.

the high contrast and grunge/grain seem a little too affected, losing some highlights on her stomach, and half her head disappears into the background. the hair seems only a problem as this is a model shot, instead of a candid. she DEOS look very proud though, good job with that. 6

Great filter. I usually don't go for the dead centered subject, but it works for me here. I like the stone wall as a backdrop. The high contrast really works well.. Nicely done.

Congratulations on a beautiful portrait! The way the fire lights her face is so flattering and intriging. The colors are beautiful, although the whites of her eyes seem a bit dark (from the smoke perhaps?). The focus on her face and the way the light highlights her hair is perfect.The fire is a bit too bright for this photo, maybe if you had cropped out a little more of it, or somehow darkened it. Overall, it gives the viewer a warm, gentle feeling. Fits the challenge perfectly.
