Greetings from the Critique Club!!
Congratulations on a beautiful portrait! The way the fire lights her face is so flattering and intriging. The colors are beautiful, although the whites of her eyes seem a bit dark (from the smoke perhaps?). The focus on her face and the way the light highlights her hair is perfect. The fire is a bit too bright for this photo, maybe if you had cropped out a little more of it, or somehow darkened it. Overall, it gives the viewer a warm, gentle feeling. Fits the challenge perfectly.
Good Job and keep shooting!!

A scene from a movie I've never seen. And for that, I really like it.

Very nicely lit. I would've cropped out the fire and zoomed in closer for greater impact.
Good Luck!

Great idea for the challenge....something different. Love the glow on her face & the sweater she has on....nice.

Neat image, yet the left half of it would have been better cropped off.

Super picture! The only downfall I see is the bleaching out of the fire...I don't know how you'd do it any differently but I still think the picture is great (maybe some selective cropping could help a bit with fire)

Very nice warm tones. The use of existing light is excellent

Beautiful lighting. Catchlights in her eyes and on her ring are perfect. Overall it sets a wonderful mood that is reflected inyour title. Even though the fire is so bright that it could be the center of attention, you have captured her face in a way that makes sure that the focus remains where it belongs.Very well done. 10

Although I find the large fire area a little distracting, I like the overall composition and the coloring on the model's face. Nicely done. 8

Very nice light and focus. But I don't see the need for the left hand side at all. Although I guess you wanted it to convey the mode of relaxation, it's just a blown out patch of white and is more distracting.

Appeling shot..but needs a tighter crop. She's lovely.

I like this photo! I am just not sure about the foreground, I get the feeling it is a campfire, but there is no real definition that can confirm that idea.

This is stunning! Using the firelight for lighting really gives her a natural glow. Well Done and good luck in the challenge!

Nice shot. I like the way the fire lights her face. Gives that warm feeling. And she does have a nice relaxed look. Seems content. An all around nice picture.

Interesting shot. I would have tried to take out some of the yellow overtones.

Beautiful. This shot is wonderful, maybe if you had cropped to give a little less of the fire on the left hand side which I find keeps drawing my eye away from the girl's face, goodluck

The fire takes away from the photo. Try laying a piece of paper over the left half and see how you like it. I love the glow from the fire but we don't need to see it. This is a portrait of a beautiful girl not a campfire.....limit distractions!

Makes me want to put on a sweater and start a fire....in a firepit of course...love the imagery and the model offset to the right gives a sense of depth. In a challenge full of close ups..this is a pleasant diversion. Great Job.

Cropping to keep the right half of the image would have dramatically improved the image. Pretty girl. Nice mood. Good exposure. Left half undoes all the good of the right.
