Fondue Anyone?by mirdonamyComment by boomer: There's rust, but the image leaves me wanting something more. The focus is pretty off on some of the utensils, and the background is distracting and competes for the eye. The marshmallow is just rather gross. 2 |

Water Breaking on the Rocksby mirdonamyComment by melismatica: I gave this a four. You are too far away from your subject, the breaking waves, to make a strong visual statement about it. What remains is a decent snapshot but not a great photo. You might try to get as close as you can on your belly to capture the waves in a visually exciting way. I live in a state surrounded by ocean (Rhode Island -- the Ocean State, natch) and this isn't giving me a visual sense of the power of waves breaking over huge rocks. |

Water Breaking on the Rocksby mirdonamyComment by gajmaj: Nice shot - could also try zooming in a little closer to the breaking water and lengthening your shutter speed to smooth out and accentuate the movement in the water. A polarising filter would have added some colour to the sky. |

Drowning in Loveby mirdonamyComment by beckettboots: Wonderfully simple. I like the off centered composition. I love the darkness of the red and the sharp focus on the bubbles. At first I thought they were some sort of potato chip ... |
