J--Jacaranda.jpgby jomariComment by sfalice: Oh, this is a beauty. Lovely, almost monochromatic colors, and yes, the Jacaranda either is or should be a color.
I remember being in Mexico City once traveling through a 'nice' section of town with great landscaping. There, on a corner were several Jacaranda trees in full bloom with a lovely carpet of petals on the sidewalk. Obviously left there as a design statement, as the rest of the area was pristine.
Enchanting.
