Nice candid shot Marion. I am always amused when I see people walking and eating at the same time. As a side note. I didn't know that Pay Less and The Athlete's Foot were global companies. The world is getting smaller all the time. Nice to see you here :)

The upright banner pole separating the couple with such symmetry, and man looking resolutely ahead while the woman looks toward him, all combine to make the mind wander to a narrative about how couples remain close or drift apart. Good condensation of human interest, well captured.

I have a shot this reminds me of from very early on when I first got my digital camera and went looking - stuff like this catches my eye as well. I think it's something about the resiliency of nature, perhaps. I like the edit - good detail in the tree, and I really like the way that golden light paints the inside of the juncture.
