This was my highest mark in this (postcards) challenge and by far the most interesting. For me the wheels created the story that so many landscapes lack. The two "main characters" talk incessantly with each other from immemorial times about every pebble and the novel presence of the wheels made their day. Mine too. Beautiful pp.

I'm having such mixed feelings about this. I really think a portrait should show the person, and the face being hidden is really throwing me. I love the processing and the shot, but it doesn't say portrait to me, because I don't feel I'm learning anything about the person. I don't know if they're happy, sad, it they're liking their their predicament or hating it. I always thought a portrait was more personal. Gack. Don't know what to do with this one.
