Lemon grass crusted salmon with Macadamia nut pesto linguineby CuttoothComment by emorgan49: I'm sure it tastes better than it looks. Reasons for a lowish score: white balance seems off, composition could be better though I do like the past mountain in the foreground and the salmon island behind. I'm not sure where you want my focus to land. In a composition like this where my eye is led to the pasta, then the salmon, then right off the page, most people won't come back for a closer looks and will simply click "next" when their interest is lead out of the frame. Try to lead me in next time. |

Berries in Blueby CuttoothComment by glad2badad: Wonderful stock photo kind of shot, but I don't see how this fits the challenge theme whatsoever. ??? Where's the story? |

Berries in Blueby CuttoothComment by dtremain: The almost silver lighting and reflections are a huge plus to this, IMO - especially against the dark to black background. Water droplets add too. |

From Summer to Autumnby CuttoothComment by JulietNN: Hi from the C Club
You asked for your shot to be critiqued!
First off, fantastic colours, the warmth and depth of the colour really brings out teh thoughts of crisp mornings, apple pies and warm fires. Your lighting is very good as well.
I think that the only nitpick that i have is that it is such a powerful image that the bottom being out of focus throws you off. Would have liked to have seen that as tack sharp as the rest of the shot it. Also the water drop, it neither makes the shot worse or better, it is one of those could be coudnt be there not going to hurt the shot.
Overall , very pleasing shot, well done |
