The CoffeeCream Factoryby hallgrgComment by Sheryll: This is beautiful. I'm not sure how I missed it on my first run through where I picked out the ones I thought were the best in the challenge. I'm putting you in with my top 20 and giving a 7 but I'll be back to evaluate again. Gotta compare you to my top 3 choices. |

A day on the beachby hallgrgComment by BrennanOB: A very well composed shot, but the blacks at the bottom are blocked out, and it seems a bit too soft over all ( though that is an issue of taste); but I'm not sure how this relates to the challenge. |

A day on the beachby hallgrgComment by Lydia: Challenge description: "Create a photo in which your main light source is also your main subject."
It seems to me that the subject of this image is the waves and birds. Neither of them are producing light, so this is DNMC to me. The light is coming from the upper left. *sigh* I'm sorry. |
