1 - Bus Commutersby tvsometimeComment by nam: Cool statues and I like the way you have used them to lead the eye into the scene. Interesting theme - you must commute and carry your/a camera :) Good idea. |

2 - Descentby tvsometimeComment by HarveyG: Good family style story telling image. End of the work day, or on the way somewhere. B and W tends for me to have more soul and emotion in human interest work. Nice candid. |

1 - Bus Commutersby tvsometimeComment by tvsometime: Originally posted by ursula: Beautiful statue, I like the picture in B/W. I have a question: There's a similar statue in Freemont in Seattle, people waiting for the bus (sorta commuters). People dress up the statues as the seasons progress, put hats and mits on them, or purses, or flowers in their hands, or other such things. Does this happen here too? |
Thanks Ursula. No, these are indoors and the Port Authority of NY probably wouldn't allow such addons anyway. However there is another outdoor grouping nearby at Montclair State University in Montclair, New Jersey, where winter accessories are permitted and often appear. |
