Stunning shot, I spent several hours looking for the perfect cross for this challenge. I never did find one I liked well enough. - But you certainly did. My only suggestion, You are only at 124 KB, you have room to save this a little larger and It might help you to keep the edges clean.

I'm not sure that would have worked here - don't think it was oversharpening, but more likely noise removal.
But without the noise removal, the photo was pretty ghastly

It was taken with a tripod. The surf was breaking in one particular direction, so it was easy to set it up pointing at one spot where the surfers were going to travel past
