Beveragesby banmornComment by Pug-H: I really like the way you use colour in your photos; they're always so strong and solid. ;-) |

Streams of Colorby banmornComment by Pug-H: Originally posted by graphicfunk: from the critique club.
This is a very strong entry with good composition, great movement and lovely colors. It has all the ingredients of a ribbon image. |
Including ribbons in the photo itself. ;-)
I agree, this should have scored much, much higher (I gave it 9). I can imagine how much better it looks than with a white background. |

Cyclingby banmornComment by Melethia: Definitely would have gotten my top vote had I been around for this one. Great shot, great sport to feature. |

A Tree in the Neighborhoodby banmornComment by KaDi: Nice location. I think, however, that the composition is lacking. Everything happens in the lower left corner of this image...but without meaning. I'd like to see the rest of the stoop, for example. I don't understand what the casual stroller (checking his cell messages?) is adding to the image. The tree...well what can one say about dead center? There are lovely, interesting shadows of the tree on the wall and walk to the right...I just wonder what you could have done with them had you re-composed the shot. |
