I think another angle may have been better. Perhaps directly above the flower looking straight down? You would have had a whole lot more in focus that way. I like the quote though and the pretty layout as well. Good job :)

I had taken pictures of these flowers last month - and while the flowers are striking and pretty, taking them "sharp" made them seem almost harsh - like they would cut you if you touched them. This softening shot you have here is very nice - retains all that lovely patterning of blood red and cream colors, but makes the bud seem very inviting.

I like this shot. The curtain on the right seems to take on the shape of a person while the left reminds me of a flag. Nicely done.
