Nice shot but I think it would have benefited from a high POV such as taken from the top of a latter looking down. That would have put all the focus on what was going on at the same time eliminating the distracting background of cars.

This is a good shot, but I am left with a sense of wanting something more to focus on. Perhaps making that fence a more prominent part of the composition might do it for me.

the sky, the hay rolls, the barn in the background - very good overall - and the choice of b/w with reasonably high contrast really provides this one some punch

Not really a great entry for a challenge - too 'snapshot'.Doesn't show off any skills as a photographer (even the composition was off).

Here's my issue...(and this is something that you probably couldn't control.)

The fact that these guys are standing in front of a parking lot makes this seem like a snapshot for the 4H scrapbook.

I get that you couldn't do much about that fact, but some dof play might have helped camoflauge the fact.

Other than that, the colors and lighting are great...I appreciate the naturalness of it.
