 Went on a tour with a group visiting from Minnesota...we were taking them around the Shenandoah Valley...., I left my 40D and 17-85mm at home (my main camera and main landscape lens)....but luckily my wife had her camera (XTi) and a lens that I could make due (28-135mm). Came VERY close to submitting this for the Rural Landscape challenge....but wanted to do more editing on it than was allowed. This was shot through a window b/c I couldn't get it wide enough outside the window with the equipment I had.

as for the comments about it being tilted...it is.....this is on a hill. I was standing on flat land and this is the natural lay of the land...as you can see, the mountain in the distance is NOT tilted.

This is a good shot, but I am left with a sense of wanting something more to focus on. Perhaps making that fence a more prominent part of the composition might do it for me.

nice colors, but the picture is cut right in half at the horizon, making it pretty unoriginal.

I know it is probably the terrain, but it feels tilted to the right.

I like the HDR feel of the grass--it almost looks like a painting. My one criticism is that the tent on the left isn't fully in the frame
