Mysteriousby LadyKComment by Molly: Very pretty, but my eyes try really hard to find something to focus on.. lovely colors. I love daisies, they are so friendly! |

Mysteriousby LadyKComment by Lydia: I... ummm... I'm not fond of the DOF. I think something needs to be in focus, even if it's 'soft focus'. But, don't take my opinion as the law. :) |

A Long Road Aheadby LadyKComment by JustinM: I wish more people would take photos like this in morning or late evening light when it is softer. I guarantee the photos would turn out cooler. |

A Long Road Aheadby LadyKComment by Falc: If you are going to produce a landscape then absolutely everything from the first pebble at your feet to the last tree on the horizon needs to be in focus. In this image we don't get sharp until 6/8 feet from the foreground, and thats a shame. Use f22 and focus on something 3 feet out, that way the hyperfocal point will ensure you have the maximum depth of field.
This image has a strong foreground element but you waste it by making it out of focus. It then needs something in the distance to lead the eye to. |
