Too hot to be coolby JulietNNComment by Yo_Spiff: Nice bold colors that pop in this one. Unfortunately, it's the classic 5 for me. For some reason I can't quite nail down, it is not having a huge amount of appeal to me, but it's not a bad shot either. There are some modest jaggies visible around the edge of the car. A different resizing method may have helped there. Perhaps it is that the umbrella and car hood are both partially cut off at the edge of the frame. I do like the story that is told by this shot. |

The Only Thing Between Mexico and Americaby JulietNNComment by dsterner: I like how the bend of the grasses really bring you into the photo. This is excellent composition - my eye is delighted by being walked through the photo with all the compositional devices: the grasses, slope of mountain, and the streak in the sky...delightful! |
