Hard to determine what side of the fence this foto was made.

I like how the bend of the grasses really bring you into the photo. This is excellent composition - my eye is delighted by being walked through the photo with all the compositional devices: the grasses, slope of mountain, and the streak in the sky...delightful!

And just to say, that really is the fence between Mexico and the US.

It is by Sierra Vista

WHooohoooo No 1's this time lol

Thank you everyone for your comments, they make my day!

I know that half of the editing I do is probably me repeating the same things, and not doing anything for the picture, but I am paranoid of not putting the steps in in case it is needed by SC.

Top 20 again, I am so happy!!! and 13th place, yay!!!!

Amazing...one of my faves so far...moody, dark and poignant.

Nice image, the tonality seems off a bit.

I like the black and white processing - it has such a dark and moody feel to it. The title turns the photo into an interesting perspective.

I think I would have preferred a color photo. I'm guessing the grass is a golden brown and the sky is a deep blue with wispy white clouds. Still like it though. Good luck.

I like the foreground of your image. The sky is a bit too dark and overpowering though.

The contrast is fantastic. The dark up and light down really sets this photo apart.
