It's amazing to see how wild creatures cope with a flood like this one. I have seen deer in the Fl Everglades get along all right when the water was this high, but it is really tough on the little ones. I am happy to see that you are able to keep shooting, and to get on line to show us photos of what you are seeing.

These little guys are hard to catch sitting still! Love the bokeh in the background. You might want to try brightening up just the bird by using a brightness/contrast layer with only the bird selected to bring out his colours more. And then, add a hsl adjustment layer and increase the saturation just a touch on the reds.

It would be neat to take the same photo from this position as the wildflowers grew, but this would take far more patience than I have, and also lock up the use of a body in a tripod. Sad to not see flowers yet, but the contrast of the shapes found in the leaves is kinda neat. The out of focus leaf in the center is somewhat distracting, however. I like how some of the leaves are more of a yellow and the others have a deeper hue. Makes the shot more interesting.
