Greetings from the Critique Club!

Technically this is a really good portrait, which is why I gave it a 6. Very clean and simple studio shot. But it would have been a 7 or more if only his neck were completely hidden - that wedge of skin just takes some of the punch out of the shot. Love the hand and the red makeup on the fingers (hope it WAS makeup....right, right?)

Not even close the ones I thought could have been yours. I enjoyed this image, gave it a 6 during voting. If I had to try and pinpoint what kept it from being one of my favorites in the challenge, I felt a certain flatness in the mountains rather than the great depth I wanted to feel. Still a perfect fit for wide-open, and deserved more imho.
