I really thought this would score higher, but not a bad showing in the FS. I really liked the how the shadows fell on the cow with the vertical in line with her ear and the lower one around the point where her legs met her body. The contrast in the B&W was great and I liked the angle of the shot. I gave you a 7, and again really thought it would score higher. It has it's fans though.

Nice job making use of something that would normally prove to be a hindrance. The grid line also reminds me of grill marks, so there is a bit of a double entendre there.

Agreed, but that's what you get with a spur of the moment candid. Too bad this was a few weeks too early for the candid challenge. It would certainly do way better than my actual entry.
