Argus C3 "Brick"by Yo_SpiffComment by tph1: The Brick! This is the camera that got my father started in photography. It was a gift from work before he left for the service many years ago. I used it a bit in HS, and it now sits proudly on his bookshelf. Of course, he has gone over the the dark side now.. (Digital that is.) |

Argus C3 "Brick"by Yo_SpiffComment by one2one: Nice find of an old classic. I haven't seen many of these around here. I'm going to start combing the garbage garage sales going on this summer for some interesting finds, I hope. Message edited by author 2010-04-05 12:40:35. |

A little TOO cheap, I suppose.by Yo_SpiffComment by Yo_Spiff: Originally posted by NathanWert: Where is the film advance lever? |
It is the thumbwheel on the upper right, directly above the film cartridge. (The "levers" and controls on top are all fake, except for the shutter button) Message edited by author 2010-04-04 18:20:19. |

A little TOO cheap, I suppose.by Yo_SpiffComment by tph1: This would be a good candidate for a redscale experiment... wind the film on an empty spool, leaving a short tag on the cartridge, then turn the spool over so the emulsion side faces the back of the camera. Tape the end to the short tag, then shoot away...
