If this were a cell, the window and view alone would keep you sane, balm for the soul. It's all the more intensified by the small compass here, though hopefully the window opens to afford a much wider scope. A small gem. Also, the slightly distorted reflections in the picture glass add more charm to the room overall.

quite dreary and dark .. but has such a great energy with those waves crashing into the image .. they are like a creature .. released from the sea ..
great shot .. hope you got away unscathed ..
i know many photographers will put themselves in quite dangerous situations to get THAT shot ..
some will actually risk their lives .. i think the excitement of being in the moment and capturing the shot they want .. they almost forget where they are in time and space .. the time and space that could kill them .. so focused they are on whats in their viewfinder ..
anyway .. great shot .. and the centered composition totally works for me .. :)

I like this outtake. Of the two, I think the additional arch adds a nice frame element and provides some context for the rails overhead. This is a pretty shot.
