The Soul Cagesby JMartComment by Bear_Music: Of quite a few similar shots I have encountered thus far (75% voted) this is by far the most pleasing to me. The tonalities are lovely, you took the time to square up the framing, I like it. |

Red Wiggler Wormby JMartComment by JMart: Originally posted by agrimace: Why do you import worms for the compost pile? Nice shot. |
The worms (red wigglers) are specialized for the paper and food waste we want to compost. The dew-worms, ordinary worms from the soil, are not good for composting. Since the red wigglers are only common in places like manuer and composting piles it's just easier to have some sent to us to jump start the compost pile.
For more information if you're interested there are many online resources such as this one:

Red Wiggler Wormby JMartComment by MelonMusketeer: The white paper towel was a good choice for BG because of the light reflected back into the subject. Is there something special about this worm that would make it worthwhile to relocate it to your compost pile, or do you live somewhere that has few or no worms in the ground?
I also like the dirt particles on it to give more interest to the shot.
Let's go fishing! |

Trianglesby JMartComment by BHuseman: Wicked photo! I love the geometry of it and the b/w. This looks like it could be a cover or a text book. |

The Soul Cagesby JMartComment by Iraklis: Hey! I like this! Though quite a transparrent fence you've managed to make a clear separation between 'us' and 'them' with your shallow dof. |
