This was a difficult decision. I went to this graveyard and had this shot in mind, but I also took several variations that turned out well with more DOF, sharp stones, and background scenery. I almost went with a more safe shot, but my wife reminded me that I might regret not going with what I actually like best.

This is not an exceptional fence picture (the fence itself that is) but it works so well with the background. Something about it just intrigues me. I think it's the dof of the background which gives a soft sad feel to it. Truly lovely.

Of quite a few similar shots I have encountered thus far (75% voted) this is by far the most pleasing to me. The tonalities are lovely, you took the time to square up the framing, I like it.

Hey! I like this! Though quite a transparrent fence you've managed to make a clear separation between 'us' and 'them' with your shallow dof.
