Blue Reflector Macro - Day 3by slaaksoComment by Arcanist: Great idea! I toyed with a reflector macro once, but never entered it. Since this is broken and may not have the backing intact, what would a backlit version of this look like? |

Macro - Macro - Day 2by slaaksoComment by patio127: The colors & shapes remind me of confetti ! really interesting textures going on as well- brush strokes and "pitting'. Very neat, Sean :) |

Old Flower - Day 1by slaaksoComment by hyperfocal: Good composition. You can soften the light by simply taping a piece of typing paper in a circular fashion creating a tube around your built-in flash. That being said I don't think it was drastically too harsh. Good work. |

Old Flower - Day 1by slaaksoComment by carofo: I like that you focused sharply on the flower center, thus leaving the puffiness around it nicely soft. I like the nice dark BG. In a perfect world, I do wish the bottom of the image was cleaned up (I read the other comments) but I totally agree with you for not disturbing nature. IMO, there better to be in your picture then taken away from where they should be. A good start! |

Macro - Macro - Day 2by slaaksoComment by MelonMusketeer: That +4 does a very nice job of getting a sharp macro focus. This image somehow reminds me of "Sponge Bob" cartoons. I think that it is the colors, and mostly the particular combo of blue and yellow. |

Macro - Macro - Day 2by slaaksoComment by kteach: Interesting idea. It doesn't look at all like a picture taken of a monitor. Neat lines and textures here that you probably overlook when the painting is on the wall. |
