03 - Pine Needlesby ErikVComment by aplomb76: It looks like some sort of smoke pod gushing fumes behind it. Very nice. I wonder if it would hold that effect more if it were not on a flat surface, but suspended in mid air for the shot. I think there is a lot of room for some interesting experimentation with this subject. |

A little distraction in the top left that draws the eye away from the mushrooms for a second but I find I am quickly drawn back to examine their wonderful texture. |

01 - Orange Bugsby ErikVComment by MattO: These are the most disgusting bugs. We get those here late fall. And they are everywhere! nice shot of them and they certainly seem to be crowded around for something. A tad hot in a couple of places but great colors and details. |
