Working Hands by BarbBComment by Yo_Spiff: What great detail and lighting on this! Reminds me of my own work. My fingers used to look like that when I worked as a field technician fixing copiers. I used lots of stuff that was hard on my hands, and couldn't do any detailed work if I wore gloves. When I eventually transitioned to doing network integration, the nasty hands went away (and my wife was happier).
My only nitpick is a bit of high ISO noise in the lower part of the frame. Not sure you could fix that in basic without killing some of the other details, however. |

Kissesby BarbBComment by sfalice: Excellent definition of that snake - good eye and tongue detail.
I do sort of agree with aplomb76 that the handler didn't
need to be in the shot as this little guy can easily be the star of
his own show.
I've handled snakes, and the ones I've played with are really cuddly,
warm and friendly creatures. But I'd sure check with someone who
knows before playing with a strange one. |

...Oh I wish that was true, but it's not. This image has been cropped and photoshopped, and I didn't mean to imply that it hadn't been. I was in a bit of a hurry when I posted it. I have now added processing details.
Many thanks for all the comments. |
