My brother subcontracts through Lowe's to do floors like this. I guess since he is not the "salesman" the haggling over the price is not an issue, but he will quote you a price for your floor, then it costs pretty much what he quotes you. So, if they don't come down, it may be because they can't, no matter how badly they want your business. :)

Congrats on the new floors. I bet the carpet will look great.

There's something weirdly compelling about this that I can't place. Maybe it's the lighting? It brought out the texture of the background snow on the ground and all those sparkles.

Oh! What a special image! You did a nice job on the photography, the processing and putting is all together. Your girls are beautiful! I remember those days, when my children were young, and so many errands and running around to do! I kind of miss them sometimes! Enjoy them, that time goes by so quickly!
