Don't you love what we can get from just pure serendipity! This has a lovely abstract quality that I like, while also capturing just what your title describes. Although it also feels a bit like walking on clouds!

Ah, if we could only do accidental captures on purpose! I often try to sneak up on my subject & shoot before I can start thinking about it. I often like my first shot best. This one has interesting grain & texture that complement the soft colors. I would never guess sanded snow. "D

Lot's of layers and textures in the scene. So much detail! It's delightful. Would've loved it even more if you'd shot it standing a little bit left so that the 2 handrails seems balanced.
