Grandma's Favoriteby bob350Comment by vawendy: Something doesn't seem quite right with this. It's like you were going for a black background, yet it's not quite black, and yet you can't really tell what it is. It just comes across as a little bit muddy this way. |

Grandma's Favoriteby bob350Comment by Lydia: I love the simplicity of this!
Without a strong background, it does seem to be floating in air... of which I'm not a huge fan. I do see a hint of a table... but only after adjusting my eyes... so... maybe it's me and my monitor.
The colors and sharpness are wonderful. |

Dinner Guestby bob350Comment by jerryc12: The bird is the subject but it has been overpowered by the feeder which is out of focus. Nice snapshot. |

Dinner Guestby bob350Comment by GolferDDS: This is an amazing capture. I have never seen a hummingbird in snow. Are you in the south? I hope the little guy can stay warm:( Hummingbirds use Torpor to regulate body temperature at night. They basically go into a state of hibernation. They can lower their body temperature to the 40's degrees farhenheit. I don't know the ambient temperature they can tolerate before it can be fatal. Maybe you can take him inside to get warm!! |
