Appalachian Trail Mateby karmatComment by Sonifo: I just read comment. It is a bummer when you forget to reset your camera settings. I went out the other day and forgot to reset my picture size. When I got back home all my pictures were really small. grrrr....
The picture isn't to bad. I just can't believe how big he is. What a creepy looking bug. |

Land of 1000 Waterfallsby karmatComment by frisca: i think I would have liked to see the water fall more in focus. maybe more DOF or throw the foreground elements out of focus to get the water? Just a couple of ideas! |

Land of 1000 Waterfallsby karmatComment by dsidwell: Lovely composition. Good choice to have us peeking over the flowers to see the waterfall! I like the waterfall out of focus, however the flowers seem slightly out of focus, too. Still nice light and great work. |

Land of 1000 Waterfallsby karmatComment by eloise: Very postcardy, and technically speaking a beautiful shot. The only thing that kept it at 9 and not 10 for me was a lack of a certain spung, that magic 'Wow!' spark. But I have to save 10s for *something*, right? :-> Nice focus on the flower in the foreground. It wouldn't be quite as good if the water were in perfect focus too. |

By His Stripesby karmatComment by mandyg5364: This is my first Critique Here, how lucky am I to be given this work. The blue of the backround Picture contrast's nicely against the wooden foreground.
composition is wonderful, and for the mood you are trying to set so is the lighting.I do agree that the blue is a tiny bit grainy but the main thing that grabs my attention away from the main theme (the crosses) is the lines on the images in the backround, too bad they are not blended in better unless part of the intention of this, is to have it look as if Photo's are in the backround.Whatever inspired you to do this I am glad it did, what a winner! |

Land of 1000 Waterfallsby karmatComment by e301: Not sure about the DOF putting the actual waterfall so out of focus when you've given it that title. Also wonder if you couldn't have reduced the exposure a little - the flowers are OK but perhaps a stop or two less wouldn't hurt, but there's too much light on the waterfall. Nicely composed. |
