De Papermillby karmatComment by citymars: Good industrial image, and I like that you show the natural setting, too. You're probably right about the DNMC for the paper challenge as it would rely too much on the caption to make the connection.
Speaking of challenges, congrats on making the top 30 for dichotomy, but I think you should have been in the top 10 for that VERY creative image. I'll make sure I drop by and comment on it, too. :-) |

Wash-Melonsby karmatComment by Germaine: Lovely shot of the little girl. If it weren't for the hand, this would be good in the natural light portrait contest, but then the hand is part of the story.
Washmelon? Love it. That will be the family word for marshmallow from now on.
In our family we still eat psguetti and hankeburs, and read mazagines -- all from my 30 year old son when he was learning to talk.

SSSS-wingby karmatComment by roz: another excellent shot .. pure concentration .. pure joy .... i know i took like million photographs of my daughter from when she was born to when she was about 4 years old .. then i sort'v slowed down quite a bit .. i'm sorry i did, coz i'd like to have another million of the years between 4 and 18 to wander thru when the mood strikes me .. keep shooting ... i dont think any photograph of your children will ever go astray ... :) |

Wash-Melonsby karmatComment by roz: a beautiful child and another excellent image to add to your collection .. i love her expression, and as a thumb i thought it looked like a vegemite sandwich that she was not that keen to eat .... great story ... :) |

Wash-Melonsby karmatComment by jonfrommk: Another great shot of one of your children (I cant believe your scrapbook is not up to date!!!)
A wonderful story, and I have the feeling that when Kristi is 20 you are still going to always use the word washmelons to her when talking about marshmallows
Great story super image |

SSSS-wingby karmatComment by jonfrommk: How strange that we both went for the 'eyes wide shut' baseball children
A shot that you must adore (the tongue coming out in concentration and effort is sublime)
Cool image |

LOL about the spot on your monitor. |

Wash-Melonsby karmatComment by Ken: This one is really special. My daughter is similar in age, and these days she wants a "Toetart" for breakfast. That's a Poptart to the rest of us. |
