There was a time not too many decades ago when during the great depression people bartered with what ever they had. A basket of eggs for a gallon of milk was a darn welcome sight. JMHO.

It's a very nice photo and it certainly meets the challenge.

This looks a little gray and dull on my screen... the highlights aren't quite white, and the mid-tones predominate. I would suggest doing an adjusment in levels, or perhaps adding a little more contrast.
