I find this image highly amusing. Reminds me of standing on a street corner looking up to get other people to do the same. Okay, I am easily amused! Not sure I like the duotone here but I think the composition is great. Crop works well. like the strangeness of the sky. 9 from me. Good luck in the challenge!

Hi Coley...

This is a really nice image IMO. I feel the same way you do about some things. I see things daily that inspire me in some way or another and I occasionally make a photo, as you have done here. The one thing you may want to consider here is going black and white. There is very little color in the photo and it doesn't really seem to be enhancing the image, so removing it could make it stronger... excellent work :)

This is so much more than just a person with a sad face. The make-up is lovely, the sad-puppy-dog face is priceless, the dark hair/clothes/background and careful lighting set the scene very well.

I really like the whole concept of the shot. Lighting is very good. Don't like the bottom arm posed the way it is. Makes it look long and chopped off.
