Solid rockby John WhiteComment by Zoomdak: Yup, great shot. Got the sky looking as DPC likes it, got the high contrast. I can imagine this doing well. Only nitpick is that the star looks a little overexposed. Beautiful image. |

Dune by John WhiteComment by macrothing: 8 - Oh, very nice. Aren't you fortunate to find (presumption) an urchin shaped like this. Nice texture, especially in the sand. My two minor nit-picks would be the image (especially because of the water) seems like it needs a fraction nudge up on the left, and the slope of the dune tapering into the top right corner - either more 'exact' (the 'edge going out' of the corner), or else more included, not sure. |

Dune by John WhiteComment by good_ham: The shot for me would have been better without the sea critter or whatever it is. The texture of the sand and relatively shallow depth of field make for a better picture by them selves in my opinion. |

Dune by John WhiteComment by Trinity_12_12: I love this shot! It makes me feel like taking a holiday! Excellent exposure and I love the way you have brought out the texture in the sand as well as the urchin. (It is an urchin, isn't it?) You know what I mean :-) Well done! |

Dune by John WhiteComment by ullage: Love it! Depth of field is perfect - lighting is perfect - bags of texture! |
