The textures on the wires are wonderful and the spilling light could be cropped out IMO. I agree that ther could be come great details on the ends of the wires.

My HDR images using PS suck big time. I have never gotten a good result.

I don't see the high dynamic range here though, would have to see the original.

I'm sure your spent some time thinking about your picture. IMO the challenge asked for more blurry mess, not for motion blur of one object. But this is my (may be too narrow) interpretation.

I like the image but think there might be some hidden detail that could be interesting on the cut ends. The back lighting is a bit hot and washes that area out. I like how you got the inner strands to protrude a bit.

I didn't recognize this at first, and I should have because I work with wire a lot. That looks like big wire, maybe 3-0 or MCM 250.
I don't know what to say about the HDR, as there is no original to compare it with. The end result seems a little bright, but the fine texture in the surfaces of the individual strands came out nice. Good subject. It has interesting textures. The one little piece of lint at the bottom keeps me coming back to it for some reason. I think it is partly because it is so different, and oriented differently to the general lines in that area. Good HDR alignment for a manual bracket too.
