Setz, every once in a while, I see shots that break so many rules but still work as a total composition. This is one of them. There is SO MUCH going on in this shot that at first the eye is confused and doesn't know where to end up. But with the simple tonality and the simple lines it really doesn't matter too much. Wherever the eye lands there is a new detail for it to take in! I do find myself ending up on the dark cork, but that's OK cause with the lines leading away from it, I just start the journey all over again!
