Group of Plantsby WildpurpleComment by Yo_Spiff: I like the translucent glow coming from the overhead light. Overall, the scene seems a bit soft, however, and my eye is trying to find more detail than there is. |

My Bottle Collectionby WildpurpleComment by Yo_Spiff: Some pleasing colors and details here. I find my eye drawn to what looks like an antique bottle of magnesium. The edge of the transition to the white background is a little harsh and crisp. Not sure if that is the way this just naturally turned out or if you selected and erased a background. |

Coke Colaby WildpurpleComment by Yo_Spiff: Some nice details. The light is hitting that glass just right. The background may be a little too strong and pulling my eyes away from the main subject. |

MoeHairby WildpurpleComment by Yo_Spiff: I have a strong suspicion whose entry this is and I know you have requested feedback, so here are a handful of things I noticed:
-The image is pretty flat looking. Not a lot of variations in tonal range. A levels adjustment would take care of a lot of that, giving the image more detail and visual pop.
-What look like creases in the background image are pulling my eye away from the adorable doggo.
-That pink background may have also affected the auto white balance for the main subject, which isn't terrible, but looks a little off. A fix for that going forward could be to shoot in RAW. It requires more work in post processing, but offers a lot of control over both white balance and to pull in detail from clipped highlights and shadows that would be lost in a JPG.
-The crop is a little tight, especially at the bottom. It leads my eye through the image in an odd way. Perhaps having a bit more room at the bottom under the dog's chin would help that.
Sorry to be so harsh, but if this is from whom I think, I know you wanted feedback. |

Round Circles Candleby WildpurpleComment by EL-ROI: The use of monochromatic colors is tricky as there has to be separation and commonality all captured with light and shadow. The object has good shapes for the challenge. |

Pepper Still Lifeby WildpurpleComment by Yo_Spiff: I thought this may have been yours, but was not sure. I gave it a 5. The light looks rather flat, as if it were lit straight on from the camera direction. Something from the side may have brought out some of the nice details in those bottles and flowers. Your problem with the colors was definitely fixed with the white balance change to auto. That is looking much better. |

Me and My Treasuresby WildpurpleComment by Lydia: It might just be me, but I think of a self portrait including the face or at least a silhouette of the head. I do love your treasures! |
