Cemetery [outtake]by bvyComment by Melethia: Is this infared or was it achieved post process? It gives it an eerie almost unreal kinda feel, which suits the subject matter. I kinda do prefer this to your entry, but your entry was better suited to DPC voters, I suspect. |

Drummer Boyby bvyComment by Melethia: LOL!! Very playfully semi-evil grin if that makes sense. For a kid who's a drummer, this is a portrait he probably really likes, which makes it very good. Lighting (for what I know) is very good, and I do like the way his face is reflected in the cymbal. |

Untitledby bvyComment by BAMartin: Very emotional, and the black amd white works really well here. I love the starkness and the view through the rubble. |

Drummer Boyby bvyComment by maynerd12: I see a lot of selective desat that looks like its done just because they can. This - with the eyes matching the cymbal - is very very good use of it. My son who is 6 and just starting drum lessons wants me to do this to him now. Better start practicing selective desat myself. |

Nicholasby bvyComment by figaro: I like the stark simplicity of this. I'm wondering whether B&W was the way to go as there's not much towards the white end of things (perhaps a contrast boost) but the great control of light and blank expression gives us quite an insight here. Well done. |
