Psych Wardby bvyComment by tnun: And the expression seems to have a slight twang as well! Fun shot, central figure nicely framed/buttressed by female figure on one side, poster guy on the other. - Really appreciate your sharing more of your m.o. - you ARE stealthy! |

Alone In A Crowdby bvyComment by tnun: That IS nice focus. (Please don't call your camera cheap - it is one of the better little digicams, made before they got really cheap and less in IQ and adjustable features!)
I like the details your focus gives us - the weave of the man's pants, the manicured nails on the figure in the long black whatever, and even the details in the buildings, delivering a wonderful breadth of context.
(Okay, I will say it. Possibly he is picking his nose! It reverberates with a recent picture on the Photokina thread of the Canon guy doing just that, and set back my own plans to upgrade to a Canon DSLR). |

Alone In A Crowdby bvyComment by crik: That is quite a candid and capture. Nice focus and a smooth B&W. I'm trying the hip shooting but not too successful with it yet. What mm shooting range do you use most when doing the hip shot? |

Alone In A Crowdby bvyComment by shalrath: What a moment! Thanks for the story about how you got the shot. Another great thing to do at the lights is wait until they just turn green and everyone starts to walk, then they're all busy and unaware of you shooting them from across the street. |

Alone In A Crowdby bvyComment by Maggye: Great capture, he seems lost in his thoughts...and the processing adds to it. I like the fact that you didn't clone out anything, imho street photography should be realistic. |

Alone In A Crowdby bvyComment by Germaine: Great processing. Whatever you did, you did it right. This is just me, but I might crop out that bit of the building at the top. IMNSHO, it doesn't add that much to the shot and kind of leads your eye away from the man. But it's your picture, and you get to call the shot. (Bad pun. ;) |

Alone In A Crowdby bvyComment by salmiakki: Glad you didn't clone out the newspaper thing too. Definitely seems sharper than your previous one, so changing the ISO was a good move. |

Alone In A Crowdby bvyComment by MacDonald: This shot is what street candids are all about in my personal opinion ... gritty, real - yep, the guy is removing an irritant just sitting on his perch ... like the angle - I am going to try shooting from the hip. |
