SD4: Exit Stage Left!!by cginoComment by MelonMusketeer: This looks like a catnip moment for sure. I understand about tracking the animal with a long lens. It is difficult to frame a running shot like this, so as the General says, zoom out and crop later gives the best chances to get the shot.
I like the action. It makes you wonder what they are imagining when the act like this. |

SD4: Exit Stage Left!!by cginoComment by GeneralE: Whenever I try motion-panning on animals, I find I'm zoomed-in too far and can't get them in the frame with any reliability. With more MP available to you, I suggest pulling back to a little more wide-angle setting and cropping in later -- that's certainly what I'm planning next time I'm trying it. |

Day 34: The Gardenby cginoComment by Bud: kind of cool - you gotta love those small town yards - not that big cities don't have, they just seem more common in rural America. |

SD4: Exit Stage Left!!by cginoComment by jmritz: Looks like shes peeling out. Wonderful how the blur adds motion and the feeling of wildness cats possess. This could be a large cat after its prey in Africa. Gives the same impression. |

Day 34: The Gardenby cginoComment by runeric: I like the processing...I wasn't familiar with LucisArt (I've seen it mentioned a few times), but I had to check it out...this effect seems similar to HDR processing. |
